- Emerging Topics
The Advanced Summer School is regularly attended by graduate students from programs with international acclaim, such as the Erasmus Mundus International Master in Service Engineering (IMSE). In addition to the four thematic tracks, a special session is organized for PhD candidates giving them a chance to present their thesis and receive feedback from academic and industry experts. The school includes presentations from various EU projects on Software & Service Architectures and Infrastructures (SSAI). The program includes a Saturday visit to the archaeological sites of Knossos and Archaelogical Museum of Heraklion, and social events (visit to a traditional Cretan village, etc.) to promote networking between participants.
Graduate students can take the Advanced School as a graduate-level course for credit (3 ECTS units). The course credits are recognized by several Universities; interested students can contact us to inquire whether the Advanced School on Service-Oriented Computing is recognized by their University.
The school will take place in Crete, Greece, from June 30 to July 5, 2014.
